Fearless Fiber Favorite Socks Waving Lace Socks

I started these July 8 and finished them this past week, except for the ends which I just did now. I did these toe up the Queen Kahuna Way. I should of changed the tops because of doing them toe-up, I think I would of liked a picot cast off better. I was having trouble with the green and yellow tractor socks for my dad, so I needed to get these finished. The yarn came from Fearless Fibers. Very soft, great colors.

knitting and frogging

I have been frogging a lot the past week.... The tan trekking pair I started Easter Sunday along with mending six pairs of socks., and fininshing the Apple pie those are my own design. The red pair are STR Mustang Sally from the Socks that rock Club. The pattern is in the new sock book Favorite Socks: 25 Timeless Designs from Interweave. I used the pattern in the magazine. I started them Jan 2 on jury duty. I did one sock and then the other and my gauge was differant........Gonna try and finish them both this week.

Update

I went to our knitting guild tea. I won the one of the door prizes the felted vase and scarf. I had a lot of fun it nice to be with others that have the same obsession, I mean interest. (how do you cross out words?)
The socks are the first finished pair of 2007, they are tight on me so they go to my best friend.
made from Opal Lollipop color 1015. I had jury duty 1/2 so I took Socks that Rock, Mustang Sally with me and started socks from IK fall 2003. They are almost finished the toes need done on both. I liked knitting with the yarn, we'll see how it wears. I made a Calorimetry I really like it. I want to knit another in a tighter gauge less wind seepage.

Merry Christmas to me!

I was a bad/good girl so I bought these books, I really like the quilt bag book. I got a fleece off ebay. We'll see how that works out. And I got two skeins of fearless fibers sock yarn in purple and orange. Also lots of cadbury milk chocolate mmmm. Can't wait till the rest comes.

I am working on designing a sweater for some Malabrigo in alpine pearl. I bought this because I love the colors, then saw some knit up online and I didn't like it. So I will make it in seed stitch or a slip stitch pattern so it doesn't pool too much.

Christmas day

I had to work just 4 hours in the morning. On my way home I saw 4 maybe 6 cardinals in a small front corner yard, so I turned right to watch them longer. They where so pretty what a nice present.

Fair results

I'm slowly getting the hang of the new camera. I got a ribbon for everything I entered. 3 blue ribbons and a third place for the sweater I think that first place was well deserved, it was a hand spun cable cardigan, very nice with the raglan seam a half cable on either side nicely done.
Now for pictures, Cat had to help.
